Yesterday was Ariana's last day of Preschool. It was a bittersweet day for me as her Mommy. It's been a crazy year, with teachers moving, and teachers leaving for medical/personal reasons but we finished out the year nicely and with 2 wonderful teachers. I can't believe how much she's grown, both physically, socially, and mentally over this past school year. She's learned so much and really has loved going to preschool. Which has been such a relief especially after our horrible experience at the German "preschool". We've really been happy with our overall experience with the Children's Learning Academy. And even though it's expensive, it's been worth it!
In her end of the year report from her teachers she meet all and exceeded most of the expectations for her age/class. Her teachers had wonderful things to say about her "quick wit and love of learning" "vibrant personality" and that she "always gives 100%". These are the kinds of wonderful things that makes your heart swell with pride as a parent.
Now we're on summer break. Swim lessons, summer gymnastics, summer storytime at the library, one last pre-baby vacation as a family of three, space camp, art camp, and lots of playdates are in store for us.
Next year she's skipping PreK and going right into German Immersion Kindergarten. We are so proud of her!
